The international non-profit organization Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) has created an internationally recognized certification system for forestry.
The aim of the FSC is to promote the responsible management of forests and plantations around the world. It was founded in 1993 as an international non-profit organization and today has almost 900 members. In 2001, FSC Italia was founded with the aim of achieving the same goals as FSC international.
In Italy, the FSC logo has become a point of reference in the market for forest products such as wood, paper and cork and has brought our country to fifth place in the international FSC Chain of Custody certification ranking. Let’s find out more!
